    Mario Moretti Foggia began his artistic studies in Verona and continued them at the Brera Academy in Milan, under the guidance of M. Bianchi, Guido Mentessi and Cesare Tallone. He started his career in Milan in 1902 and won awards at Mantua exhibitions of 1905 and 1908 Como. In the same year he appeared at the Turin Quadrennial Slava, Calm and the squero S. Vico-Venice.

    In 1909 and 1911 he exhibited at the Milan Family Artistic oriental theme paintings (in Arab neighborhood in Cairo, camel drivers of Gisa, Bedouins of the Sahara and a square in Damascus). The Gallery of Modern Art in Milan preserves the Triptych of the Three Kings.

    Mario Moretti Foggia was born in Mantua in 1882. Mario died in Pecetto Macugnaga (VB) in 1954. His works are held at the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan.
