    A creator of wildlife sculpture, usually suspended in air, with much negative space around them, Mark Hopkins does partial animal figures creating illusions of levitation.

    For many years he worked in sales to support his family, but in the late 1970s began entering competitions. The family then moved to Loveland, Colorado, but he has his work cast at a foundry in Rome, Georgia. He has been successful, selling over 35,000 pieces from about 300 sculptures....
