She settled in Fort Worth, Texas but studied and worked in the East. She was a member of the Brooklyn Society of Miniature Painters and exhibited at the Old Lyme, Connecticut and the Pennsylvania Miniature Society. In Old Lyme in 1929, she was a student of Lydia Eastwick Longacare, who had a strong influence on her career. In the 1930s, she studied with John Sloan at the Art Students League in New York City, and in 1940 she took a job as a draftsman and construction-cost estimator for Swift and Company in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Brooklyn Society of Miniature Painters and exhibited at the Old Lyme, Connecticut and the Pennsylvania Miniature Society. In Old Lyme in 1929, she was a student of Lydia Eastwick Longacare, who had a strong influence on her career. In the 1930s, she studied with John Sloan at the Art Students League in New York City, and in 1940 she took a job as a draftsman and construction-cost estimator for Swift and Company in Fort Worth.
