He left high school and his family, trying various trades. He was admitted to the School of Fine Arts in Rabat. He was helped by the painter Jilali Gharbaoui, one of the largest Moroccan painters, one of the first non-figurative. Then he decided to leave for France. He arrived in Paris and returned to Toulouse where he had found a better home in the process. He attended the School of Fine Arts Toulouse from 1969 to 1972, where he worked with Daniel...
