Mehmet Güler (* 1944 in Malatya) is a German-Turkish painter and graphic artist whose studio is located in Kassel. Although his center of life is Germany, he is counted among the world's most famous Turkish artists.

Güler studied painting and graphics at the Gazi University in Ankara. He made a study trip to Germany in 1966 to Munich, later he completed a postgraduate course at the Kunsthochschule Kassel with a scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of Education. Back in Turkey, he taught as an art teacher at schools and then as a lecturer in painting. Since 1977 he has his studio in Kassel.
