    When my wife Cindy and I were in the southwestern U.S. in April/May 1989, we bought this watercolor, depicting Three Indian Pottery Vases, representing three Indian tribes in New Mexico: the Zuni, the Acoma,
    and the ancient Anasazi. The artist, Michael McCullough is a Native American. The vase shown at the right in the painting is based on shards excavated by the archeologists working for the Public Service Company in New Mexico. The shards are then catalogued by the state and given back to the company, where they are made available to a...
