Mieczyslaw Wisniewski gained his experience from structural art focused on the issues of space built from overlapping planes. The relief obtained as a result allowed for appropriate manipulation of the light flowing from outside and giving the impression of movement. The presented "Concrete Painting I" is part of the last stage of his work, bringing more economical compositions, limited to simple systems of lines and points that exceed the rules of geometry. Within the composition, a simple rectangular figure is superimposed, which is made of a different material. It allows you to obtain appropriate lighting, which, by moving over a surface full of concave and convex, creates zones of active reflections and shadows in the image.
