Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mildred Bunting Miller studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1910-15) and the Art Students' League Summer School in Woodstock, NY (1913). She was awarded two Cresson Traveling Scholarships in 1914 and 1921.
She was resident artist at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Country School at Chester Springs from 1916-34 and instructor there from 1926-34.
She exhibited extensively and received numerous awards throughout her long career.

Mildred Bunting Miller was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 21, 1892. Miller studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Art Students League of NYC under Anshutz, Vonnoh, and Breckenridge. She was a resident of Baltimore, MD before moving to San Diego, CA. She died there on Sept. 11, 1964. Member: Philadelphia and Baltimore WC Clubs.
