About Mykola Nedilko

    Nedilko was born in the Sumy Region of Ukraine in 1902. He was a graduate of the Ukrainian State Art Institute, Kiev (1928). While at the institute, Nedilko worked with F. Krychevsky, M. Boichuk, and L. Kramarenko.

    He worked for the State Opera and Musical Comedy Theatre, both in Kiev. In 1948 he emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    In 1961 the artist moved to New York. He had well-received solo exhibitions in Paris, New York, Philadelphia and Toronto.

    His work may be found in the Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation, Toronto, the Ukrainian Museum, New York, and the Ukrainian Museum and Library of Stamford, Connecticut.
