    Nikolai Mikhailovich Romadin was a renowned Russian artist known for his lyrical landscapes and adoption of the ideological principles of the "Union of Russian Artists." He was born in Russia and studied at the Samara Art College and VKHUTEMAS/VKHUTEIN in Moscow. Romadin was a member of the AHRR and the group of young artists ROST. He won the Stalin Prize in 1946 for his series of landscapes "Volga - Russian River" and the Lenin Prize in 1980 for another series of landscapes. Romadin's works can be found in prestigious institutions such as the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the Australian Museum of Art in Melbourne.
