    Olga Lau (1875-1960)

    Olga Lau grew up in Dragør, Denmark, outside Copenhagen, and studied at Sophus Vermehrens Paint School in Copenhagen.

    In 1898 she started lessons at the Royal Danish Art Academy.

    In 1914 Olga Lau received money for her painting, Serdin Hansens Pris, and for the money, she went to Italy, where she the lived in Rome for five years.

    In 1923 she came to she Danish island of Bornholm, where she stayed until her death in 1960.
