  • Biography

    He moved to Rome at a young age, attending the Academy of Fine Arts and starting to collaborate with the most important literary and artistic magazines. He exhibited at the III Sindacale Laziale (1932) and at the I National Exhibition of the Syndicate of artists (Florence, 1933); in 1934, presented by Alfredo Mezio, he exhibited at the Bragaglia Fuori Commercio and in 1935 at the II Quadriennale in Rome.

    After a stay in Paris (1935) he was back in Rome. In 1936 he painted a fresco titled Roman Carnival in the Palazzo dell’Anagrafe. In 1939 he was present at the III Quadriennale and at the second Milanese exhibition of "Corrente", where he exhibited with the Roman group.
