    Oskar Mulley was an Austrian landscape and genre painter as well as graphic artist, born in 1891 in Klagenfurt. As early as 1901 there was promotion of Mulley's talent for painting. In 1909 he became a student at the Munich trade school, and from 1910-13 he studied at the Vienna Academy under Alois Delug and Rudolf Jettmar. Mulley was then briefly a theater painter before he served in the military during the First World War. In 1917 he was in Bozen, from 1918-34 was in Kufstein / Tirol, and later was in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In 1937 Oskar Mulley was honored with the Golden Austrian State Medal for Art.
