    Otto Theodor W Stein was a German-Bohemian artist who studied painting in various cities including Vienna, Prague, Karlsruhe, and Paris. He was a co-founder of the Munich New Secession in 1913. Stein lived in Chemnitz-Kaßberg and later in Berlin, with patrons such as Wolfgang Gurlitt and Heinrich Barchfeld. Due to his Jewish origins, Stein was persecuted by the National Socialists after they seized power. He emigrated to Prague and was eventually imprisoned in the Theresienstadt concentration camp....
