    Paul Bouvier was a Swiss architect and watercolorist, born May 30, 1857 in Neuchâtel and died in the same city on March 27, 1940 at 82 years old. After secondary school and apprenticeship as an architect in Neuchâtel, he entered brilliantly (5th out of 60) at the École des Beaux-Arts* in Paris in 1878, where he graduated from the architecture section.

    After stays in Italy and North Africa, he practiced architecture in Switzerland and specializes in ephemeral architecture for exhibition pavilions in Switzerland and Europe.

    From 1910, he devoted himself exclusively to watercolor, apart from a few rare oils, drawings or lithographs* and was also very active in the community. His favorite subjects were the surroundings of Neuchâte...
