    Born in the Northern area of Saint Quentin, Aisne, France. He studied at the Paris National Art Academy in 1945. He studied with Brasilier, Cathelin, Genis, Ba Dong under the French elder painting Brianchon. Guiramand received an award in Rome in 1952 and was noticed at a Paris School Exhibition in 1956. In 1957, he received a Marlborough Award at the Manhattan Biennial Exhibition. He began holding exhibitions in 1962 at Geneva, Chicago, Paris, Japan and several other locations in the world.
