Paul Müller-Kaempff 1861 Oldenburg - 1941 Berlin Landscape painter. 1880-83 studied at the Düsseldorf Academy under Hugo Crola and Heinrich Lauenstein. 1883-86 Studied at the Karlsruhe Academy under Theodor Poeckh and Gustav Schönleber. 1886-1889 Master student of the Norwegian landscape painter Hans Frederik Gude at the Berlin Academy. 1887 First participation in an exhibition in Oldenburg. 1889 Start of freelance work as an artist and study trips to the Baltic Sea (Fischland and Ahrenshoop). 1892 Builds a house in Ahrenshoop and founded the Ahrenshoop artists' colony.
