    Pauline Thibodeau Paquin (1952)

    A Canadian painter, Pauline Thibodeau Paquin was born in Sainte-Monique, Quebec (about 75 miles east of Montreal) and lives in Sainte-Adele, Quebec (about 50 miles north of Montreal). Her mediums are oil paint and acrylics. Her primary subjects are children at play. Her style could be described as Fauvism* or Naive Art*. The askART auction results have many excellent illustrations of her oeuvre. Examples of her works are in the collections of the University of Alberta Museums, Edmonton and the Maison Saint-Gabriel Museum, Montreal.
