    Pavel Viktorovich Pepperstein, born to artist Viktor Dmitrievich Pivovarov and writer Irina Mikhailovna Pivovarova, is a Russian artist, writer, and contemporary art theorist. He co-founded the artistic group "Medical Hermeneutics" in 1987, which marked a new phase in Moscow conceptualism. Pepperstein has participated in numerous exhibitions and biennials worldwide, winning the Kandinsky Prize in 2014. His works are held in prestigious collections such as the Russian Museum, Tretyakov Gallery, and Pompidou Center....
