    Don Pedro Cámara was born in 1936 in Spain.

    Pedro was trained at the San Carlos School of Fine Arts. Among the awards he received throughout his career are the Honorable Mention of the Senyera Prize, 1959; the first University Painting Prize, 1960, and the Grant from the French Government and the Valencia City Council to study at the Casa Velázquez in Madrid (1964).

    A year later, in 1965, he received the extension of this same pension and obtained the Provincial Council of Valencia Painter Ribera Award. In 1966, he was honored with the Valencia Prize at the National Fine Arts Exhibition and, the following year, he received the one from the Castellón Provincial Council.
