    Pehr Hilleström is the leading recorder of the Swedish people's customs and practices during the reign of Gustav III and Gustaf IV Adolf. His wide range of motivations was taken from all walks of life and preserves the life of time throughout its diversity. In addition to royal orders, he painted high-level interior interiors with men's crews and servants engaged in everyday chores, general interiors, scenes from the opera and the theater world, motives from mining and use management, kitchen still life and urban and landscape motives. He also painted historical and religious motives, the first obvious consequence of Gustav III's propaganda for the glorious past of our country.
