Peter Corbin grew up in a family that nurtured his interest in hunting, fishing, and the out-of-doors - subjects he celebrates in his paintings. They have been collected in his new book, An Artist's Creel, a comprehensive view of his approach to art and career accomplishments.

Of his work, he has said: "My paintings are done on four or five levels. They tell a story, and I'm always trying to work the light to the dark and the dark to the light, trying to draw the viewer into the painting.
