    Peter Etril Snyder LL.D. (Hon.) (1944 – 2017)

    A popular Canadian painter, draftsman, illustrator, muralist, and sculptor, Peter Etril Snyder was born in Kitchener (Regional Municipality of Waterloo), Ontario, lived there his whole life and died there. He is the author and subject of several books. His works are in many private and corporate collections and in the permanent collection of the Canadian Museum of History (National Capital Region).

    His mediums included oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, lithographs, collector plates (Christian Bell Porcelain 1980), and on one occasion cold cast bronze figures (Gosset Bronze 1983). His subjects were portraits, still life, landscapes, genre, figures, interiors, animals, farm scene...
