    Peter Tomschiczek, born in 1940 in Iglau, began his artistic journey as a screen printer apprentice at the age of 14. He studied at the Würzburg School of Arts and Crafts and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. Tomschiczek started his own business as a freelance artist at 23, drawing inspiration from art movements like Informel, Arte Povera, and Art Brut. His work evolved over time, focusing on nature and form, leading to the development of his unique visual language. Tomschiczek's paintings, often large-format, incorporate elements such as sand, earth, and feathers to create a harmonious blend of colors, shapes, and surfaces in non-representational compositions.
