Born in Paris, Philippe Berry is the younger brother of Richard Berry and the husband of Josiane Balasko. Sculptor, decorator, painter and draftsman, he entered the Penninghen drawing school in 1974 and worked first as a graphic designer illustrator for various textile houses and then as a model maker, then as an artistic director in various advertising agencies.
