    Pierre Joubert (1910-2002) is immediately recognizable by his idealized style, verismo, putting teens in the spotlight. He influenced many designers, from MiTacq to René Follet or Patrice Pellerin Emmanuel Lepage.

    Famous for its covers of novels by Bob Morane and Henri Vernes, published by Marabout from 1953, or of the collection privacy men Hachette (from 1977), Pierre Joubert is especially the author of covers he made for the collection Sign Trail, created in 1937, which remain among the most coveted. When fifty years after its creation out this book tribute to the collection, it is natural that Joubert sticks to the cover.
