    Pyotr Alexandrovich Sukhodolsky was a painter and draftsman. In 1856-1864, with interruptions, he studied at the IAH in the class of landscape painting at the SM Vorobyov. In 1870 he entered the service of the Zemstvo - elected conciliator, he served as chairman of the county government and the provincial secretary.

    From 1888-1894 he worked as an illustrator in the magazines "Niva" and "Guslar."
