    Randolph Schwabe was a British artist born in 1885. He was a talented draughtsman, painter, and etcher who served as the Slade Professor of Fine Art at University College London from 1930 until his death. Schwabe was also a war artist in both World Wars, created designs for theatrical productions, and illustrated a number of books.
