  • Biography

    A Wyoming native, he earned a BFA from the University of Wyoming in 1981. He began painting full time in 1988 and is a resident of Cody, Wyoming. His landscapes, which are studies in reflecting and refracting light, are exhibited at the Colorado Fine Arts Center, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center as well as many other places.

    He has been chosen as the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Artist of the Quarter three times, has been selected for the Arts for the Parks Top 100 Artists five times, and won the Yellowstone Park Purchase Award in 1997, the Collector's Choice Award in 2001 and last year's People's Choice Award at the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale.
