Reinhard Schnauder, born in 1856 in Plauen im Vogtland, Germany, was a German sculptor and draughtsman. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden from 1875 to 1876 under Ernst Hähnel. Schnauder later became a freelance artist in Dresden and was a member of the Allgemeine Deutsche and Dresdner Kunstgenossenschaft. He was the son of wood sculptor Julius Schnauder and the father of sculptor Richard Georg Schnauder. Reinhard Schnauder passed away in Dresden in 1923.Internet
