    Reinhard W. Heinemann (1895-1967) attended the Academy of Art in New York and studied with Toni Binder and Paul Bollmann. In 1937, he emigrated from Germany to Denmark. Many of his works are characterized by rhythmic or vehement lines. After the Second World War, he pursued abstract tendencies.

    Works by Heinemann can be found in important museum collections, including the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Altonaer Museum and museums in Schleswig, Wuppertal, Copenhagen and Stockholm. (cko)...
