A central figure of the "Scuola di Piazza del Popolo" in the 1960s, he experimented with new techniques and visual languages. In his work, Mambor explores the interaction between object and pictorial surface, using human silhouettes and symbols to represent the human condition and modern society, with frequently anonymous and repetitive figures that underline contemporary alienation.
