    Ron Goyette was born on September 5, 1941 in Brockton, MA He passed on September 27, 2002 in his home and Studio in Kennebunk Lower Village.

    His earlier work was signed 'Ron Goyette', By the late 1970's, his work was signed 'Goyette'

    Ron Goyette was basically self taught. He painted with contemporaries such as George Carpenter, Gail Lincoln and Gordon Robinson. His early work was influenced by George Carpenter.

    Ron Goyette believed that one should share their knowledge and he started teaching. At first, it was on a one on one basis. He later conducted week-long workshops where students from all over the country would come to Kennebunkport, Maine to take part. We would have a welcoming reception on Sunday a...
