    Well known western Canadian marine painter, Ronald Threlkeld Jackson was born in Hamiota, Manitoba and lived most of his life in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was a winner of the Slade School of Fine Art Duveen Award. He was a member of the International Oceanographic Foundation, the British Columbia Society of Artists*, and a founding member of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists.
