    SANTIAGO REBOLLEDO Arango was born in 1951. He is a Colombian artist living in Mexico since 1975. He began painting because his father Gonzalo Arboleda was devoted to art.

    Santiago Arango Rebolledo studied engraving with professor Humberto Giangrandi at the University of the Andes in 1972 and drawing and painting with professor David Manzur from 1972 to 1974 in Bogotá, Colombia.

    He was also in "Taller 4 Rojo" directed by Professor Nirma Zarate in 1973, and he was part of Bellas Artes at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota.

    In 1974 he made a mural for the Bank of Bogota, El Castillo branch, and that motivated him to travel to Mexico and study mural painting.
