Sara-Vide Ericson (b. 1983) is a Swedish painter whose work explores memory, heritage, ritual, and the transformation of personal experience into symbolic form. She studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm from 2004 to 2009, and currently lives and works in Hälsingland, Sweden.

Ericson’s paintings often feature her own likeness, though she does not consider them self-portraits. Instead, she describes her role as lending her body to the work—inhabiting different personas and emotional states that serve the painting’s narrative. Her process is deeply rooted in material sensitivity and spatial construction, with a particular attunement to Nordic light and the psychological resonance of place.
