American abstract painter Sarah Morris was born in 1967. She received her B.A. degree from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, furthering her studies at Jesus College, Cambridge University, London, England; and in the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program, in New York City. She lives in London and New York City.

Morris is essentially a painter of abstract, brightly-decorative, geometric paintings executed in gloss house paint.
