Siegfried Zademack was born in Bremen in 1952 and is a German painter known for his surrealist and fantastical imagery. He trained as a display designer, commercial artist, and screen printer, working professionally in graphic design until 1980. Dissatisfied with formal academic instruction, Zademack pursued a rigorous self-study of classical painting techniques, drawing inspiration from the Italian Renaissance and Mannerist masters.
