    Sigvard Marius Hansen was a Danish painter who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1876 to 1883. He traveled extensively through various European countries until 1890, including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and Germany. Hansen received several prestigious awards during his career, such as the Sodrings Prize in 1886, the Royal Danish Academy Medal in 1886, 1893, and 1902, as well as the Bielke Medal in 1895.
