    Sotiris Sorogas was born in Athens in 1936.

    From 1957 to 1961, he attended the School of Fine Arts under professor G. Moralis while working in copying frescoes. The 1962 monitor icon painting courses at Applied Laboratory of Fine Arts. In 1965, he was appointed curator at the headquarters freehand drawing and painting at the School of Architecture NTUA. In 1973, he won a scholarship from the Ford Foundation.

    Ascholeitai especially the illustrations and art direction of books and magazines and has published essays in books, magazines and newspapers and directories.
