Born in Pakistan in 1969, Talha Rathore obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan in 1995, specializing in Miniature Painting. In 1997 she won the UNESCO scholarship and moved to New Delhi to take up residence at the Sanskriti Akademi and in 1998 she moved to New York where she now lives with her husband. Her solo exhibitions include shows at Rohtas Gallery, Lahore (2007); Nature Morte Gallery, New Delhi (2004); Bose Pacia Modern Gallery, New York (2003); Gallery Espace, New Delhi (1998); and Alliance Francaise Gallery French Center, Lahore (1996).
