Tomas Rajlich was a Czech artist who was born in an unknown year and studied sculpture at the School of Decorative Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He co-founded the Klub Konkretistu in 1966 and gained national fame in Czechoslovakia. Due to the Soviet Occupation, he left his homeland in 1969 and settled in the Netherlands, where he started teaching and found his vocation to become a painter.
