Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Todd Connor began painting at age 12, and from that time has been fascinated by basic shapes, harmony of color, and atmospheric works that suggest serenity and easier times. He is a plein-air painter, ever seeking the illusion of outdoor light.

For subject matter, he has done extensive travel along the major rivers, Civil War battlefields, and other historic sites. He has also studied at Tulsa Junior College, the Kansas City Art Institute, and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena....
