    Waldemar Theophil Fink was born in 1893 and passed away in 1948. Fink exhibited in Munich in 1909, at that time the center of the tradition of German landscape painting, which put atmospheric mountain scenes in the center of the representation. However, the artist, who was also active as a decorative painter, was aware of the effect of clear, striking colors, so he enriched the often dark-toned works of the pre-war period with a bright palette and mature contrasts.
