    Walter Bosse was born in 1904, the son of two academic painters. In Vienna, he attended the School of Arts and Crafts, where one of his teachers was Michael Powolny (1871-1954). His education was supplemented with an additional year of study at the School of Arts and Crafts in Munich.

    Among others, Bosse designed for the porcelain factories Augarten in Vienna, Metzler & Ortloff in Thuringia, and Goebel in Oeslau. He also worked for the company Goldscheider in Vienna.

    From 1950 to 1972, Bosse was a freelancer for the State Majolica Factory in Karlsruhe. He again worked for the company Achatit in Cologne-Junkersdorf from 1958 to 1961. Among his greatest admirers and supporters was ...
