  • Biography

    Walton Blodgett was an American Scene watercolor painter and also an illustrator and teacher. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he studied at the Grand Central Art School in 1927 and privately with George Luks and with George Pearse Ennis in Eastport, Maine. In 1936, he was a WPA artist in Key West, Florida, and in 1946, he taught at Hunter College in New York City.

    He was active as a member and exhibitor in the American Watercolor Society.
