    (Excerpts).....A storage jar made of Egyptian Paste and Earthenware Clay created by Wayne Higby, son of Mrs. Betty Higby and the late Don W. Higby has been selected for Object USA. Prepared in New York by the Museum of Contemporary Crafts and the Lee Nordness Galleries, and financed by Johnson's Wax Corporation. Objects USA is similar to art USA, an earlier collection of contemporary paintings.........

    Higby has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Colorado and recently received a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Michigan. He currently (1969) heads the Ceramics Department at the University of Nebraska.
