    Wilhelm Kohlhoff was born in Berlin in 1893. Wilhelm Kohlhoff was an important and versatile painter of portraits, landscapes, pictures of animals, genre scenes and still lifes. Kohlhoff was also a graphic artist and porcelain painter. He had exhibitions in the Berlin Secession, and numerous stays abroad with international exhibitions. He was under the influence of Corinth expressive representations, but was also influenced by Impressionist themes. In 1909 he began teaching in the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin.  Kohlhoff provided paintings for the Berlin Art Exhibition in 1914.  In 1917 he returned to Berlin Secession.  He associated with B.
