    William Percy Weston ARCA, CGP, BCSA, RBA, WGP (1879 - 1967)

    William P. Weston was an impressionist landscape painter born in London England, who lived in Vancouver Canada from 1909 until his death in 1967. His medium was primarily oil on panel and on canvas, however he has also worked in charcoal, pastel (often combined with charcoal), ink, pencil, chalk, watercolour and linocut. His subjects were almost exclusively the landscape of his home province, British Columbia, with a particular focus on specific named mountains (almost always titled with the exact location on the back) and close-up studies of forest vegetation and lone trees.
