    Wilson Chu (1946)

    Painter Wilson Chu was born in China. He immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1977. He became a fulltime artist in 1985. His primary medium is oil paint. His subjects include gardens, flowers, landscapes, still life, figures, children, portraits and marine scenes. His style could be described as Impressionism* or Naturalism*. The askART auction results have several good illustrations of his work. (1)

    His art education includes apprenticing as a teenager under Wong Shaw Ming in China. (2)
